Dining Chair Makeover {Before & After}

Good morning!  Today I wanted to show you my dining room chair makeover.  I was able to get four of the six chairs painted.  I decided to save the other two chairs for later, so we would have somewhere to sit, since what I thought was going to be a quick weekend project has dragged on into a two week ordeal.

Anyway,  here's a before and after shot.  Clearly, it's not the exact same chair, but I didn't get a good before shot, so I took a picture of one of the captain chairs that still needs to get a makeover.
I think I have officially turned into one of those people who paints everything white.  I do love white, but I also considered painting them the same Benjamin Moore Dragon Breath like I used on the consignment table and coffee table makeover that I did.  So, I painted one of them with the Dragon's Breath, and decided that I didn't like it.  I wound up using Rustoleum's Heirloom White spray paint instead.  The black chair just didn't like right in the space to me.
For the seat cushion covers, I found a gray curtain panel at Target on sale for $20.00.  I was able to cut it into six pieces so I'll be able to cover all the chairs with it.  I actually recovered all four, but I did it late one evening, and I was tired so I did a crappy job on three of them.  Now, I'm going to have to redo those which does not make me happy.
Now, I need to decide about how to redo the table.  It has a nice inlay around the border, the only thing is that it is just a veneer so I wouldn't be able to sand it and stain it a different color.
It does need to be sanded though, because there are a lot of scratches on it and it has a pretty slick finish.
My original plan was to just paint it Dragon's Breath and have the chairs white.  So, it would look something like this.
I don't know though, I'm considering painting the table white too.  I'm also curious to see how the table sands down to see if maybe I might be able to stain it, but I don't know if I want to add another wood tone to the room.

I'd love your feedback on the table.  Should I paint it white like the chairs or the charcoal gray Dragon's Breath?
